Scope: 2 SWS (4 ECTS).
If required, corresponding examinations are offered for the acquisition of ECTS (in the form of an oral or written examination).
The course aims at providing an overview of Ukrainian commercial law. Considering EU-Ukraine accession negotiations, Ukrainian commercial law will also be examined from the perspective of its compatibility with EU law. The course will cover the basic grounds of Ukrainian commercial law, investment law, company law, contract law and contract drafting, property law, consumer protection law, law on intellectual property rights, labor law, the basics of insolvency law as well as judicial system.
