The upcoming interdisciplinary workshop “War, Peace, Fragmented Orders, and Political Dialogues: Interdisciplinary and Comparative Perspectives from Political Science and International Law” will bring together 15 participants from Germany, Ukraine, Italy, the UK, Sweden, Luxembourg, Georgia, Armenia, and the USA to explore critical questions at the intersection of political science and international law in contemporary conflict and post-conflict contexts.
Discussions will focus on the legal and political order in Eastern Europe and Eurasia, processes of social mobilisation and cohesion in Ukraine, and the roles of civil society, rights, and obligations under wartime conditions. Participants will also examine legal and political instruments for peacebuilding and consider comparative lessons from international law in peace processes.
This workshop aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange, providing a space for scholars and practitioners to develop nuanced perspectives on war, peace, and fragmented political orders.
