Call for Applications: Translating Ukraine Summer Institute in Wroclaw, Poland
Building on the successes of the 2024 and 2025 iterations of the Translating Ukraine Summer Institute—and recognizing the continuing precarity of living conditions and professional development experienced by Ukrainian translators in the fourth year of the continuing Russo-Ukrainian war,—the University of Alberta’s Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies (CIUS), DUSS UAlberta—Disrupted Ukrainian Scholars and Students Initiative, the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University, the Harriman Institute of Columbia University, the Yale Ukrainian Program at Yale University, Ukrainian Studies Program at Cambridge University, Kolegium Europy Wschodniej, National Ossolinski Institute, New Eastern Europe, NGO Translatorium, and the Shevchenko Scientific Society in the US are launching the third international Translating Ukraine Summer Institute that will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, on 6-17 July 2026. The organizers are inviting all eligible candidates to apply for this training and professional development opportunity.
