Susann Worschech
Dr. Susann Worschech is a social scientist and research coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies Competence Network Frankfurt (Oder) – Berlin at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). Her work focuses on the political sociology of Europe, particularly Ukraine, democratization, civil society and resilience research, and transnational cultural relations. She was a visiting scholar at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University and a visiting professor for international integration at Justus Liebig University Giessen. She was awarded the 2016 Klaus Mehner Prize by the DGO, the 2019 Brandenburg State Prize for Excellent Academic Teaching, and the 2019 Brandenburg Postdoc Prize for Outstanding Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
