Call for Participation: 2025 Bavarian-Ukrainian Workshop on Multilingualism

The Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST), the Center for Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies “Denkraum Ukraine”, and the Forum Multilingualism and Regionality "FoMuR" at the University of Regensburg will be hosting a workshop on cooperation with Ukraine in the humanities with a focus on multilingualism on October 28-29, 2025 in Regensburg.

The 2025 workshop is a follow-up to last year’s conference, but with a sole focus on the field of multilingualism, including the topics language didactics and trauma processing. Establishing and strengthening the cooperation with Ukraine are main goals of the event.

The workshop is aimed at interested lecturers and researchers in Bavaria, Ukraine, as well as other countries.

We are looking forward to your active participation in the event, for example in the form of presentations and/or workshops on current topics and findings in teaching and research. In addition, exchange with colleagues and presentations of Good-Practice-Examples, projects or cooperation proposals will be a major program point. A poster session is planned to take place as well.
